On macbook, frequent dialog box stating "Whatpulse wants to make changes"

I just downloaded Whatpulse 2.0.1 and I’ve noticed a couple issues. Whenever I wake my macbook (running OSX 10.7.4) or reconnect to the internet, a dialog box will pop up asking for my permission to allow Whatpulse to make changes to my computer. If I click no, the box will pop up repeatedly.

Additionally, since downloading the new Whatpulse, my computer locks up for about ten to fifteen seconds upon wakeup. I can see the screen, but the mouse cursor is missing and the computer is totally unresponsive.

These issues are really bothersome, and if there isn’t a solution I will be uninstalling Whatpulse.

I am having the same issues, which are very annoying.

I already made a thread about this http://whatpulse.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=2264

Although it doesn’t appear to have happened again since I posted that…

I too am having this problem. This is not happening on my other mac, but Whatpulse is updating to live server on that computer.

Well I’m sick of the issues caused by this. I’m uninstalling for now. I’ll monitor this for any updates and/or fixes and will consider reinstalling if anything is done about it.

Your thread was started after this one, and has the disadvantage of not having the phrase, “Whatpulse wants to make changes” in it, so that it is more difficult to locate with Google.

Just thought I’d mention I get this too, 2.0.1 on Mountain Lion
