Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error on startup

I am currently running the latest Whatpulse version for Windows (XP Pro SP3 x86). There is only one account on the computer and yes it does have Administrator access.
The error it gives me is:
"Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\WhatPulse\WhatPulse.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please conact the application’s support team for more information."

It seems to do this no matter what’s open because it’s one of the first things to open when I boot up the computer, it never runs anymore and it used to work but I can’t recall when it stopped working.

I wasn’t sure if this was a WhatPulse error or a Visual C++ error and would like to know.

Any help is much appreciated.
