With virtual reality around the corner would it be a good time to introduce a new input category for gamepads? A third category along with keys and clicks that counts the number of buttons you press on an xbox controller, the oculus touch, htc vive controllers, steering wheels and whatever other gamepads there are.
I’d really like to see this become a thing. I wouldn’t mind if they counted as keys instead either, but perhaps a distinction needs to be made.
+1 for this. I lose so many key presses while playing DiRT Rally on wheel and pedals and on other games with xbox one controller.
