Whenever I start the new Pulse client, it says:
“Please enable access for assistive devices in the Universal Access preference pane. Otherwise keycounting will not function properly”.
Does anybody know how to enable these, and what effect it may have on other functions?
You can do so in the “Universal Access” or “Accessbility” preference pane in the system preferences, as it says.
It doesn’t have much effect on other functions, it allows you to enable accessibility stuff like voiceover and the ability to use certain specific input devices someone would use with motor control issues.
It enables an API which can be used to get keyboard/mouse traps, which WhatPulse uses. That’s why the client asks you to turn it on.
Where is the system preferences pane? I can’t find it
