I was out of town for a week, but my computer was on and pulsing away. It shows 5 key presses each day, which seems odd. Is there something that would explain extra key presses getting added when pulsing? Or do I just have a ghost trying to log in?

The client reacts to actual physical input, so it won’t react to gremlins in your computer, but it will react to actual physical gremlins.
No one should have been there, so unless I had a daily intruder hitting exactly five keys… odd.
I think I figured out what this was. I had an applescript running that sent keyboard commands.
