Whatpulse not counting and crashing

Since a couple of weeks Whatpulse 2.4.1 on Windows 7 x64 is not always counting keys in “Steam”-Games, especially Borderlands 2 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. There may be others but those two stuck out to me. Clicks, Uptime and Traffic are counted though.
I tried fixing it with exiting the game and exiting Whatpulse, but if I restart Whatpulse it keeps crashing until ich restart the whole system.
Reinstalling Whatpulse and WinPcap didn’t help.

Here is what the app.log looks like:

Just found out, WP counts Keys in Games after a reboot, but stops counting in e.g. Borderlands The Pre-Sequel after pulsing.

Installing Whatpulse 2.4 doesn’t count too In-Game, but I can restart it without crashing like 2.4.1.

If you’re running the client as administrator (which you are), there are still applications which can block the client from receiving any input. Antivirus/malware/protections are known to do that, but some games are programmed badly and take a exclusive hook on the keyboard and/or mouse. There’s not really anything you can do about that, except ask for the game developers to basically “not do it that way”

Thank you for answering!

I disabled my Antivirus, it made no difference. I get the exclusive keyboard and/or mouse hook, but it’s not that it is not counting, it’s not alwys counting.

How about the crash when restarting WP?
