Looks like Whatpulse closes automatically. Second day I see it’s gone without warning/message or whatever. There is no high cpu load!

win7 x64
whatpulse 2.0.1 (current download from site, not 2.0.1a!)

If an application closes automatically, it should be logged in your Eventvwr or can be detected with a 3rd-party program like Process Monitor or something.

Will keep an eye out if mine drops out as well but I think our Windows build is similar (although I am running Server 2008 x64).

From Vista onwards, one of my standard-questions when installing an application is always: “where you full admin without UAC enabled when you installed the application?”. In this case; are you 110% sure you installed the application and winpcap with the proper permissions on the system?

I have this problem as well with 2.0.1 on Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
I only have input statistics enabled.

Clean install today, only Whatpulsed installed

Mine closes too, but when I re-run it it appears to have saved stats as if its running in the background but the icon in the taskbar has simply disappeared.

having the same problem on my Window’s 8 (64-Bit) computer. I try to run it after download/install and it says “Whatpulse has stopped working” on the screen where we are supposed to create an account or login. Any fixes found yet? or we gonna have to wait till 2.2 =/
