[SOLVED] [Mac 10.10] Total keycount: unknown

I just noticed recently that the client window on my Mac is listing my keyccount as “unknown” and the geek window is reporting it as zero. I checked the permissions and they are set correctly (and none of the modifier keys are being recorded either). Updated the client to the newest beta and that still didn’t solve the problem. Also reset the client token with no luck.

Anything else you can think of that could be causing this?

Edit:

  1. WhatPulse 2.5-1157 (beta) now, but issue also occurred on previous stable
  2. Mac OS X 10.3
  3. No error (except for the “Total keycount: unknown” in the client)
  4. Chrome, iTunes, Spotify, Outlook, OmniFocus

If the keyboard icon is faded, it means key counting is disabled in the settings. Enable it, it’ll continue counting where it left off.

Well now I feel stupid, I have no idea how I missed that (or how it even got unchecked to begin with).
