Some information:
WP version: 1.6.2.1
WP Username: [LA]Lainfan
OS: Windows XP Home (2002) SP3 (32bit)
Logged into Administrator account
Error message: Runtime Error - Microsoft Visual C++ Library
[i]Runtime error! Program: C:\Program Files\WhatPulse\WhatPulse.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.[/i]

Programs running at the time of error: Various. Error is repeatable.

I received this error about 1 week ago, and since then constantly. I searched on this forum and on Google and found some solutions (like deleting the keyfreq.bin file but i did not even had that file. And re-installing whatpulse with deleting the WP folder manually) but none of them worked.

After that I tried 2 different versions of 1.6 (I was using 1.6.2.1 earlier) but with both versions I continued to receive that error. I am using Windows XP Home Edition and never had problems with WP untill this.

I hope someone can help me with this problem. Thank you.

The keyfreq.bin file is located in your Application Data folder as of 1.6. Start > Run > %APPDATA%\WhatPulse\

The file was not in that folder either, but I deleted the folder and after re-installing WP it worked again.

I only deleted “keyfreq.bin” and after that - whatpulse work :slight_smile: ufffff
