MacOS Monterey "Error during installation"

When installing version 4.3 on MacOS Monterey 12.5.1, I receive this error:

Error during installation process (com.whatpulse.client):
Execution failed (Unexpected exit code: 126): “bash sudo installer -pkg /Applications/WhatPulse/depends/install.ChmodBPF.pkg -target /”

Any advice? Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for your message! Is it possible that you did not approve the admin permissions ask during the installation? That’s what could case this message.

If you haven’t approved, it means that the installer wasn’t able to install the permissions needed to count the network traffic - which might explain why your profile doesn’t have any network. Luckily, it can be fixed after installation by following these instructions: My network traffic is not counting | WhatPulse Help Center

I’m getting exactly the same error message as well:

I did enter in my admin credentials during the installation but it still failed. I also used the Maintenance Tool to remove and re-install the application giving admin credentials again and it still didn’t work.

Running the file manually as per the article does work.

Thanks! This has been remedied in another spin up of 4.3.
