My macbook will record the number of mouse clicks but not the keyboard strokes. I have it enabled in accessibility in my settings.

Have you restarted the client after it got access in the accessibility menu? What does it say when you start it (it has a permissions check). Also post the info requested in: http://whatpulse.org/forums/showthread.php?tid=810
